Which formats are supported?

Are my files stored on the server?

No. Files are deleted automatically right after processing. Images are not stored, analyzed or shared with third parties.

How do I use the API?

After purchasing a PRO subscription, you’ll receive an API key in your personal account. Use it with Bearer authorization to send compression requests.

Can I cancel the subscription?

Yes, you can cancel the subscription at any time. Access remains until the end of the paid period.

It makes images up to 81 % lighter with no visible loss of quality and converts them to the modern WebP, AVIF and JPEG XL formats, so pages load faster — which matters both for visitors and for SEO. Upload a JPEG, PNG or WebP — WhiteCompress picks the settings itself and makes the image up to 81 % lighter with no visible loss of quality. Quality, format and size can be set by hand, and the result downloads in seconds.

The Free plan gives 50 compressions a day, files up to 2 MB and up to 4000 px on the longer side. PRO gives 500 compressions a day, files up to 10 MB and up to 8000 px, plus the AVIF and JPEG XL formats. Uploaded images are deleted after processing and are not analysed.

API

A compression API for your site and app

The REST API with a key from your account builds compression into a CMS, an online store, a mobile app or a site build. The key can be copied in the account and limited to a list of allowed IP addresses, and each address shows its number of requests over the last day.

PRO adds batch processing of up to 20 files at a time. The service reports a finished batch to your address (webhook), the notification is signed with your API key, and the results stay available for download for up to an hour.

Image compression right inside WhitePage CMS

Sites on WhitePage CMS don’t need to compress images by hand: the MediaPress module comes bundled, and on its “WhiteCompress” tab you only paste your API key. Images in “Media” are compressed on upload, and those already uploaded — with one button.

An AVIF copy is created next to the image if it is lighter than the original, and the storefront serves it to browsers that support the format. If the service fails or the limit runs out, the panel compresses the image itself and logs the reason — the site never ends up without images.
